    • Even if the money arrives, it sounds like they’ll be screwed for awhile since those recruits will most likely end up elsewhere.

    • Due to the the disparity in berths to the NCAA tournament, the sport will continue to shrink until you have a virtual play off between two conferences. If growing the sport is the true goal, someone with vision will have change the current trend. In my opinion the only way to grow wrestling is to give each conference equal berths. The beauty of college basketball is that any team has a shot, so recruiting a blue chip player is possible. In wrestling, the blue chip wrestlers know there is a better chance if the go to a Big Ten vs an ACC team

    • Isn’t it already that way? Some conferences only get there champions or runner ups while in the Big 10 all you have to do is make weight and show up.

    • For years now the NCAA has awarded the NCAA tournament to large arenas instead of college campuses. Were losing major wrestling programs based on money. Lets move the next tournament to Tempe, then Fresno, etc. I would love to go to Tempe in March. The host school must get some sort of stipend on a 20 million dollar community impact.

    • Does anyone have ties or knowledge of how the Democratic or Republican campaigns are raising funds over the internet? I have to believe that there are more than 8 Million Wrestlers who could contribute $2 a piece to help save ASU and FSU wrestling. Obama, Clinton, and McCain are raising millions of dollars in part to due to small contributions. Maybe its time we take raising campaign contributions out of the hands of the university presidents and into our own?
